It is with immense joy and gratitude that we share the beautiful memories created during our recent First Holy Communion celebration at our parish on 28 January, 2024 at the 9:30am mass. The air was filled with reverence, excitement, and a profound sense of spiritual connection as 8 of our young members took a significant step in their faith journey.
Teachers Maria and Analese have been preparing them for the for this important day in their spiritual journey. The last week was busy with practices and preparations. All the hard work paid off as everything went off smoothly with great devotion and reverence.
After mass, we gathered in the parish hall for a delightful celebration. Our Sunday school teachers gathered together to share in the joy of this significant sacrament, capturing cherished moments through photographs and conversations. The atmosphere was one of unity, love, and a shared commitment to nurturing the faith of our youngest members.
We thank Julian Mascarenhas and Peter Rebello for the lovely backdrop and all the decorations. As always, our team of Sunday school teachers worked together to ensure even the smallest of details were taken care of. We wish to thank the parents for cooperating so well and making the time for all the practices.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our priests, families, friends, and all those who contributed to the success of this event. Your support and presence made this celebration a truly memorable and spiritually enriching experience.
As these young members continue their faith journey, we hold them in our prayers, trusting that the grace received during this First Holy Communion will guide them in their ongoing walk with Christ.
