Our Lady of Lourdes

Today, August 4, is the feast of St. John Vianney, Patron of Priests. After the 9:30am mass we had a programme for the priests and brothers.

Tr. Priscilla welcomed the priests and brothers and shared a few words on how grateful we are for the gift of Fr. Roque, Fr. Roshan, Br Albin and Br Melvyn. Tr. Rebecca then shared a lovely poem on priests.

Our Sunday school children prepared lovely cards for our priests and brothers. The parish area leaders too had made a collection which we gifted to the priests and brothers.

Br Melvyn then accompanied Magdalene and Kenrick singing “Hands of a priest”. Tr. Artee then also sang a song in Hindi.

Fr. Roque and Fr. Roshan thanked the parishioners, parish council for all the love, prayers and wishes.

We ended with two action songs by the Sunday school kids.

We continue to pray fervently for our priests and also pray for more vocations to the priesthood.
