Children’s Day Celebration: A Day of Joy, Games, and Togetherness

Our parish came alive with the cheerful laughter of children on Children’s Day, as we gathered to celebrate the precious gift of childhood. The day was designed to create memorable experiences for our little ones, fostering joy, teamwork, and faith-filled fun.

The children were divided into vibrant groups, each choosing a beloved cartoon character as their team identity. From Doremon to Batman, Spider-Man and Goku, the basement buzzed with excitement as each group rallied around their chosen character, setting the stage for a morning filled with energy and enthusiasm.

The celebration began with four engaging games that had everyone cheering and laughing. Each game was crafted to encourage teamwork, quick thinking, and loads of fun. Whether it was Pictionary or Hopscotch or participating in relay races, the children embraced every challenge with enthusiasm and a spirit of camaraderie.

After the games, the basement echoed with the joyful sounds of an action song that brought everyone together. With animated gestures and hearty singing, the children and their leaders celebrated, dancing and singing in unison. It was a heartwarming sight to see such pure joy and energy filling the space.

The winners were announced and prizes were presented to the children by Br. Albin.

We concluded the celebration with a delicious snack time. It was a perfect way to wind down the event, leaving everyone with happy hearts and cherished memories.

We thank Tr. Angel for planning the games and action song, all the Sunday school teachers and volunteers, who made this day special. A special thanks to Tr. Becky for preparing the liturgy for mass with a special focus on our children. And of course Tr. Daphne for capturing these lovely photos of the day!

May we continue to nurture the faith, joy, and community spirit in the lives of our children as they grow in God’s love.
